The Combine Report: RCI Defensive Talents – How Their Value Fit For The NFL

Defensive RC Pioneers For The 2020 NFL Season - And Beyond

With No NFL National Scouting Combine invite, and for most, no Pro Day trial – no problem. Due to the cancellation of the NFL Regional Combine Invitational (RCI) via the coronavirus pandemic, the invitees had the opportunity of a lifetime removed.

Still, no problem as these defensive standouts are pioneers and, for some, their destiny will land them in the NFL.

The prized jewel of the NFL Regional Combine was canceled as safety and health takes precedent over any event, as all lives matter.

Fueled by the initiative of NFL Football Operations, the NFL Regional Combine platform hosted nearly 6,200 athletes as the opportunity stage placed NFL hopefuls in front true NFL decision-makers, dating back to 2012 when the RC was instituted.

The RC helped to bring some sort of closure to many, both the league’s scouting trust and players alike. With no NFL Regional Combine trial, all parties involved were crushed, however, understood why as the country was held hostage by an unseen enemy.

These defensive talents did not get their chance to truly showcase their value. Nevertheless, it does not mean that they completely missed an opportunity because – their talent, passion, hunger won’t allow failure or disappointment.

After thoroughly monitoring their skill sets, the defensive gems who would have been in Miami for the NFL Regional Combine Invitational would have forecast the best grouping of NFL hopefuls ever hosted.

Check out why, get familiar early.

Phones will be ringing this 2020 NFL Draft weekend. Still, no talent will be left behind as these RCI invitees are still pioneers for the platform.
