The Washington Redskins, who are in the hunt for a quarterback along with everything else, had the chance to draft quarterback Blaine Gabbert.  Instead, the burgurdy and gold trade down to the 16th-overall pick with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Redskins is the second team to make a trade in the 2011 NFL Draft.  The Atlanta Falcons trade up to the 6th-overall pick from the 27th with the Cleveland Browns.  The Browns received the Falcons’ 27th pick, a second and fourth-round for the 2011 Draft and a first and fourth-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The Jaguars, in turn, drafted Gabbert and the Falcons selected wide receiver Julio Jones.
